Bitcoin Slips as Dollar Strength and Oil Prices Weigh on Crypto

The inconsistent performance of cryptocurrencies can be attributed to the influence of factors such as the strength of the dollar and the rise in crude oil prices on market mood. The Dollar Index rose 0.24 percent overnight as a result of the U.S. dollar’s gain. The six-currency Dollar Index, which measures the value of the US dollar relative to a set of six other currencies, is up from 102.21 at the previous close to 102.45 at the present time. Worries about fuel-induced inflation have been rekindled as rising crude oil prices have been caused by intensifying tensions in the Middle East. The price of Brent crude oil for December settlement has risen 1.9% from its previous closing of 104.72 and is now trading at 106.75. From its prior close of $91.85, WTI crude oil has jumped 2% overnight, reaching $93.70. At the moment, the total market value of all cryptocurrencies is 2.8 trillion dollars.

A massive 59.3% of the cryptocurrency market is controlled by Bitcoin, while Ethereum controls a sizeable 11%. Within that one day, a total of $344.36 million was liquidated. While just $153 million was collected from short positions, $191 million was collected from long holdings. At $82,572.40, the biggest cryptocurrency by market cap, Bitcoin is trading 0.66 percent lower than it was overnight. Net inflows of $21 million were recorded for Bitcoin Spot ETF products in the US on Friday, in stark contrast to Thursday’s net outflows of $244 million. Between Saudi Aramco (ranked 12th) and Tesla (ranked 14th), the top cryptocurrency is located. The price of one Ethereum token is $2,522.69, up 0.59 percent. Over the previous week, the leading alternative coin has seen a 6.8 percent fall. After reaching $73 million on Thursday and $161 million on Wednesday, net outflows from Ethereum Spot ETF products in the US decreased to $56 million on Friday. The net outflows were completely covered by the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF. According to market capitalisation data, Ethereum is still ranked 61st among all assets globally. Number four rated BNB fell 0.28 percent overnight, bringing its price down to $747.05. XRP, the cryptocurrency ranked fifth, fell 1.86 percent overnight and is now selling at $1.37. Overnight, the price of Solana, which ranks seventh, fell 0.23% and settled at $109.36. Net outflows totalling $4 million were recorded for U.S.-listed Solana Spot ETF products on both Thursday and Friday. The entire loss was caused by the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF. At the moment, TRON is trading 0.26% higher at $0.3312, putting it in eighth place overall. Currently selling at $1,269.14, the ninth-ranked cryptocurrency Zcash saw a 2.95 percent increase overnight. Hyperliquid, which is placed tenth, fell 1.73 percent overnight, reaching $84.32.
