Bitcoin Sparks Crypto Rally with ETF Inflows and Treasury Liquidity
Cryptocurrency markets saw a remarkable jump as a number of bullish factors came together in a generally quiet sector. Many investors have flocked to Bitcoin Spot ETF products listed in the United States after the U.S. Treasury Department promised a liquidity boost, and the cryptocurrency markets have responded positively. The possibility of the Clarity Act’s passage has also been boosted by a resurrected effort from the White House. The US Treasury Department’s announcement about increasing bond buybacks has improved confidence in the cryptocurrency markets due to the expected liquidity increase it may provide. Bitcoin is now the twelfth most valuable asset in the world, according to market capitalisation.
At the moment, the top cryptocurrency is sandwiched between Meta Platforms (ranked thirteenth) and Saudi Aramco (ranked eleventh). Following an impressive overnight gain of around 18%, Ethereum is now ranked 69th among all assets worldwide in terms of market capitalisation. Crypto liquidations have increased to $3.4 billion, according to the 24-hour figures. The liquidation of short positions was $3.1 billion, much surpassing the $297 million obtained by the liquidation of long positions. The overall value of all cryptocurrency holdings increased by 9.6 percent, reaching $2.43 trillion, overnight, amid a huge short squeeze. Throughout this period, the market leader, Bitcoin, had fluctuations ranging from $72,397 to $65,863. Net inflows of $517 million were recorded for Bitcoin Spot ETF products in the US on Wednesday, a significant rise from the net inflows of $189 million on Tuesday and $298 million on Monday. A net of $285 million was received by the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF. At $2,282.28, Ethereum is selling at a premium of 17.9 percent. At its current price, the leading alternative coin is 54% behind its all-time high of $4,953.73, which was achieved on August 25, 2025. In a 24-hour period, the price range was $2,327.70 to $1,966.88. Ethereum has reduced its year-to-date losses to 23.1%. After $71 million on Tuesday and $31 million on Monday, the net inflow for Ethereum Spot ETF products in the US was $187 million on Wednesday. With $122 million in net inflows, the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF topped the list. The fourth-ranked BNB had a significant 6.3% gain, reaching $642.61, overnight. On October 13, 2025, BNB reached an all-time high of $1,370.55; it is now 53% below that price. XRP, the fifth-ranked cryptocurrency, set a new all-time high of $3.84 on January 4, 2018, and is now trading at $1.22, a 20.1 percent gain overnight.
Overnight, the price of Solana, which ranks seventh, rose 10.2 percent to $86.58. The all-time high price of SOL was $294.33 on January 19, 2025, and the current price is around 71% below that. This past Wednesday, $3 million worth of Solana Spot ETF products listed in the United States saw net inflows. At its current price of $0.3380, TRON is trading at a 1.8 percent rise and is ranked 8th overall. The cryptocurrency’s all-time high was $0.4407 on December 4, 2024, and the current trading price is 23% below that. The 9th ranked Hyperliquid experienced a 22.59 percent increase in value overnight, trading at $72.01, which is approximately 6% lower than the all-time high of $76.85 achieved on June 16. There was a $2 million net outflow from U.S.-listed Hyperliquid Spot ETF products on Wednesday. At its current price of $0.0776, Memecoin Dogecoin—the tenth most valuable cryptocurrency—had a 10% rise overnight. DOGE’s present price is 89% below its all-time high of $0.7376, reached on May 8, 2021.
