According to a report, Anthropic’s valuation has surged to approximately $350 billion, a significant increase from $183 billion in September, following a combined investment of $15 billion from Microsoft and Nvidia in the AI company. On Tuesday, Microsoft announced a new partnership with Nvidia and Anthropic, representing its latest effort to diversify its AI strategy. According to the agreement, Microsoft is set to invest as much as $5 billion, whereas Nvidia will contribute up to $10 billion. Both companies will collaborate on model design and engineering, emphasizing performance, efficiency, and the optimization of future Nvidia chips for Anthropic’s workloads. In a video message, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated, “As an industry, we really need to move beyond any type of zero-sum narrative or winner takes all the hype… the opportunity simply is too big to approach any other way.”

Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang remarked that the world is still at an early point in the AI journey. “We’ve admired the work of Anthropic and Dario for a long time… this is the first time we are going to deeply partner with Anthropic to accelerate Claude,” he stated. Microsoft and Anthropic are expanding their current partnership to introduce Claude to a broader range of businesses worldwide. Customers of Microsoft Foundry will now have access to Anthropic’s leading models. Claude Sonnet 4.5, Claude Opus 4.1 and Claude Haiku 4.5. Claude is set to be the sole frontier model accessible on all three leading global cloud platforms. Azure clients will additionally receive tools and features tailored specifically for Claude. Microsoft has reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining Claude’s integration within its Copilot offerings, which encompass GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Copilot Studio.

Anthropic is enhancing its footprint in India as a component of its worldwide growth strategy. The company has recently announced plans to open a new office in Bengaluru in early 2026. The Bengaluru office will host a local team dedicated to developing AI solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of India. The city was selected due to its extensive talent pool and robust enterprise network. This marks Anthropic’s second office in the Indo-Pacific region, following the establishment in Tokyo.
