U.S. Market Futures Pointing Lower

U.S. stock futures are pointing lower in pre-market trading for Tuesday, October 11. The Dow Futures are at 18236.0 for a loss of -23.00 points. The S&P 500 Futures are at 2155.0 for a loss of -4.00 points. The Nasdaq Futures are at 4888.25 for a loss of -5.00 points. The Russell Futures are at 1246.7 for a loss of -3.40 points.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is at 17024.76 for a gain of 164.67 points or 0.98 percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index is at 23549.52 for a loss of -302.30 points or -1.27 percent. China’s Shanghai Composite is at 3065.25 for a gain of 17.11 points or 0.56 percent. India’s S&P BSE Sensex is at 28082.34 for a gain of 21.20 points or 0.08 percent. In Europe, the FTSE 100 is at 7117.49 for a gain of 19.99 points or 0.28 percent. Germany’s DAX is at 10664.49 for a gain of 40.41 points or 0.38 percent. France’s CAC 40 is at 4512.29 for a gain of 15.03 points or 0.33 percent. The Stoxx Europe 600 is at 342.29   for a gain of 0.31 points or 0.09 percent.
