U.S. Market Futures Pointing Lower as Stocks Ease

NEW YORK : U.S. stock futures are pointing lower in pre-market trading for Tuesday, July 19. The Dow Futures are down 18433.0 for a loss of -18.00 points. The S&P 500 Futures are down -6.00 points at 2154.0. The Nasdaq Futures are lower atv4595.75 for a loss of -12.50 points. The Russell Futures are showing a loss of -3.60 at 1200.6.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere Japan’s Nikkei 225 is at 16723.31 for a gain of 225.46 points or 1.37 percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is at 21673.20 for a loss of -129.98 or -0.60 percent. China’s Shanghai Composite is lower at 3036.60 for a loss of -6.97 points or -0.23 percent. India’s S&P BSE Sensex is higher at 27787.62 for a gain of 40.96 points or 0.15 percent.

In Europe, the FTSE 100 is lower at 6669.28 for a loss of -26.14 points or -0.39 percent. Germany’s DAX is lower at 9939.83 for a loss of -123.30 points or -1.23 percent. France’s CAC 40 is lower at 4310.42 for a loss of -47.32 points or -1.09 percent. The Stoxx Europe 600 is lower at 335.57 for a loss of -3.13 points or -0.92 percent.
